Located on Auckland’s North Shore, McMahon Design is a design studio specialising in new builds and full renovations.

With many years of personal experience undertaking renovations and new builds, I have developed a depth of knowledge that goes beyond design. I understand first-hand the realities of bringing a project to life, from working alongside architects and navigating the building process to collaborating with trades and managing the many decisions that come with a renovation or new home.

I loved the process so much that I went on to complete a Diploma in Interior Design, combining my practical experience with formal design training. This gives me a unique perspective and allows me to approach each project with an understanding of both the creative and practical sides of design.

I work with busy clients, their architects and trades from concept to completion. My passion is to enhance the lives of my clients through great design that meets their needs and surpasses their expectations.

My goal is to remove the overwhelm, develop ideas, solve problems and deliver bespoke design solutions that are considered, practical and personal to each client. Whether you are renovating an existing home or starting from scratch, I bring experience, creativity and a practical understanding of the process to help turn your vision into a home you love.
